A Family We Belong To

Crow Road Free Church can trace its original back to 1824 when a group of Highlanders received permission from the Church of Scotland to form a church to meet the spiritual needs of the growing Gaelic speaking diaspora in Scotland’s largest and growing city. This city centre congregation joined the Free Church of Scotland in 1843 undergoing several changes of location from Hope Street to St Vincent Street and more recently to Crow Road in the city’s west end. But throughout its history, its Gospel witness has remained constant. The congregation can truly claim that the church is not so much “a building we come to but a family we belong to”
